Looking for info on George Carter who flew P-47 in Europe, and later went to the middle east and did some flying after the war. I met him as a teenager in the 70s and thought he was a great guy.He passed away in the late 1980s in Fresno California.I know before his death that some pilot friends of his would come and see him in the care home he was at. I am hoping someone might have some info on him, or perhaps remember him. I am sorry I don't have more to go on, like a unit or rank although I believe he said he was a Captain.Thanks.....Pappy
